Awards and Recognition

After watching the distinguished style of Brij Folk Music the Mahant of Gorakhpur Shri Advaitnath Ji conferred the title “Braj Koyal” to me.
On January 2000, on the occasion of Amrit Mahotsava of the founder of All India Institute “Sanskar Bharati” Shri Yogendra Ji at Soorsadan Agra, for extraordinary contribution for Folk Music I was personally honored by Shri Yogendra ji.
On 3^rd May, 2003 at Kasganj District Etah on the occasion of Trayodash Anniversary annual function, of Sankatmochan Dham Selai I was conferred the honour of “Brij Saraswat” by honorable Shri Keshri Nath Tripathi, chairman Vidhan Sabha Uttar Pradesh.
In February 2004, the established institution of Bharatpur named Kala Mandir honored “Bharatpur Ratna” award to me for my distinguished services for Brij culture and Brij music.
On 23^rd February 2004, I was conferred the honor of “Kala Surabhi” by the district Magistrate of Etah for presenting unique Folk songs and Holi geet.
On 4^th April 2004, the Vice Chancellor of Dr. Bheemrao Ambedkar University Agra conferred the honor of “Surpeeth Ki Brij Vibhuti”.
On 2^nd July 2006, I was conferred the “Excellence Honor” for Folk music by the spiritual and cultural TV channel “Bhawna” at Shri Dham, Vrindavan.
On 1^st August 2006, I was conferred the honor of “Tungvidhya Sammanopadhi” in a Tulsi Jayanti mahotsava organized by Sookar kshetra Shodh Sansthan, Kasganj district Etah.
On 6^th August 2006, Shri Brij Nidhi Seva Trust Vrindavan organized Megh Shyam Smriti Samaroh at Vrindavan. In this program the famous Sant Karshni Swami Guru Sharananand Ji Maharaj honored me for divine presentation of Bhajans.
Established Learned person of the society and various Institutions appreciated my contribution for extra ordinary program and presentation of Folk Music from open hearts and honored me with lot of appreciation and awards.
Shri Krishna Sahitya Academy of Indore awarded the “Kala Shree Award – 2008” to me in All India Talent Samman Samaroh. This prestigious award was honored for my best contribution in Folk Music and songs. In this function Eminent Samaj Sevi, Writers, Artists and Teachers from every corner of India were present, specially Shri Subhash Yadav ex-Deputy chief Minister and Sadhu Yadav M.P. were present.
On 19^th February 2010, Kishori Madhav Satsang Mandal arranged a big Samman Samaroh at Govind Kund of Goverdhan Dham of Brij area. In this program I was honored with “Lok Kala Sangeet Samman” by the Mandal.
On 18^th January 2011, Delhi based National Institute – Avantika organized a Smriti Samaroh in remembrance of principal of Gyandeep Shiksha Bharti, Mathura, late Ms. Savita Bhargava. I was honored there with “Savita Smriti Samman”.
On 10^th June 2011 a grand function was organized at a 5 star hotel in Raigarh, to celebrate grandson’s birthday of a famous industrialist. On this occasion “Brij Ki Sangeet Sandhya” was organized where I performed in association of Shri Awdhesh Sharma Ji (son of famous Rasacharya Ji Shree Hargovind Ji).
On 24^th April 2012, a unique traditional presentation of Badhai Gayan was done at residence of ADG AIR Delhi Directorate General, Smt. Alka Pathak Ji To welcome her newly wed daughter in law. After Bhadhai songs, there was a series of Mayur Nratya, Game songs based Nratya and then Brij ke Phoolon ki Holi. This was an extraordinary program thoroughly enjoyed by the audience.
On 9^th June 2012, owner of Hotel Radisson Delhi Shri Pramod Gupta Ji organized a grand function to celebrate birth of his son. In this program I performed Badhai Songa, Rasiya and Brij ki Holi along with full troupe.
On 4^th September 2012 I played a role of Judge in Mathura audition of ETV’s program – FOLK KA JALWA. Later the program was broadcasted by Uttar Pradesh Doordarshan.
On 10^th March 2013 I was honored with “Utkrashtha Sewa Samman” by Milestone Creations Sanstha in Vrindavan Mahotsava. This honor was given for my special contribution in field of Brij Lok Gayan. In the program MLA Mr. Rajkumar Rawat, Director of association Neeraj Singh and Joint Tax Com. Aadesh Sonkar were also a part pf audience and has appreciated my performance.
